Opportunities for paid internships, potential job offers, and scholarships — all through the Valley City Exploring Program.
Valley City Explorers is a career exploration and job readiness program for high school juniors and seniors in Medina County who want to go directly into the workforce after graduation. If you’re motivated to start working — and earning — right out of high school, this program is built for you.
You’ll connect with leading employers in the Valley City Industrial Park, including Welser Profile, TWB Company, Three D Metals, and Northlake Steel.
Through site visits, hands-on learning, and mentorship in a 12-session program, you’ll gain real-world experience and an inside look at high-paying careers in modern manufacturing.
Modern manufacturing offers more than just a job — it’s a stable, high-paying career path with real benefits and room to grow. Entry-level positions often start at $17–$22 per hour, with opportunities for overtime, healthcare, paid training, retirement plans, and advancement into skilled trades or leadership roles. For students who are ready to get to work after high school, manufacturing provides a direct path to independence — without the burden of student debt.
